Facilitating structured and unstructured opportunities for collaboration and knowledge share are one of our members’ most valued benefits. Our peer roundtables are focused on relevant topics selected by the group and are hosted both in person and virtually. All peer-to-peer discussions are optional and are subject to OSHN’s anti-trust laws.
- Organized by area of focus
- Includes convenient listserv function which supports ad hoc questions and experienced-based responses
- Topical examples include current industry trends, changes in product availability, recruitment and retention strategies, etc.
Our strategic priorities are determined by our all-member board, which ensures our priorities remain relevant as the industry and market evolves.
- The board meets six times per year with two of those meetings in person.
- All policies, updates to the Network's Code of Regulations, and new members require board approval.
We are accountable to our members. All OSHN operations and policies, including review of progress on our strategic initiatives, are reviewed by the board or its executive committee.
Our network is governed with transparency. Our board ensures that our resources and policies are aligned with our member-set strategy, and all financial records are available by request. The board reviews and approves our annual operating budget, and all members have access to our financial statements and meeting minutes. Our fiscal year ends on June 30.
OSHN was established in 1995 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization—a status shared by most of our members. To this day, our organizational structure remains closely aligned with our purpose of relentlessly pursuing value for every member in our network.
