Bone Day is back! This biannual OSU conference has been a highly regarded meeting for over 20 years, but has been on hold due to the pandemic. We are excited to get together in person to provide the newest information on ways to better approach and treat our patients who have had fractures and are at risk for more broken bones. Join us live to network with the speakers and connect with fellow providers. We will update you on the latest in evidence-based information for treating osteoporosis and the most current breakthroughs in metabolic bone disease evaluation. Patients and providers both seek to understand ways to improve their diet and exercise to make their skeletons healthier and we will review the latest information. Join us for a great day of learning and exchange!

 

This program will also offer 8 hours of Ohio Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) CE.

Thoracic Tumor Board

This multidisciplinary group meets on a weekly basis with the goal of improving the quality of thoracic cancer care our patient’s receive, provide educational opportunities for all those participants that treat thoracic oncology patients, and become an asset to the hospital and community. The Thoracic Oncology Tumor Board provides a forum for the discussion of new research and treatment strategies, through continual updates of the standard of care. It is anticipated that the attendees would adjust their practice based on clinical evidence and outcomes discussed at this tumor board. We continue to evaluate our attendees using the OSU RSS electronic evaluation format to measure all of goals.

Cardiovascular Multimodality Imaging Symposium: Cardiomyopathy and Heart Failure

It is essential that healthcare providers can identify and integrate current guidelines in diagnosing and treating cardiomyopathy and heart failure patients. Many of these patients have multiple co-morbidities and diagnoses. This continuing medical education activity emphasizes the utilization of current imaging guidelines for diagnosing and treating patients in order to improve the level of care.  Learner will gain increased knowledge on appropriate imaging test ordering and interpretation resulting in improved treatment strategies for patients with cardiomyopathy and/or heart failure.
